Within just a few weeks of the worldwide launch of its flagship OnePlus 15, OnePlus is already taking the next step to broaden its range. The firm is now hinting at the OnePlus 15R, which will serve as the flagship's more economical partner, as well as the probable birth of a new smartwatch simultaneously.
The 15R is slated to be global OnePlus Ace 6T’s twin in its presentation, giving a powerful upper-midrange feature set. Initial leaks indicate the presence of up to 16GB of RAM and storage choices of 256GB and 512GB. The display might be a 6.74-inch panel boasting a 165Hz refresh rate, which is a characteristic of the standard OnePlus 15 and would be very appealing to gamers and users who want smooth performance.

The reports suggest that the OnePlus 15R will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor which is a little less powerful than the Elite version of the standard OnePlus 15 but still in the flagship range. The details about the camera and battery are not confirmed yet but historically the "R" series has provided a nice mix of premium features and budget-friendly hardware.
Adding to the 15R buzz, OnePlus has also advertised a "New Watch." The industry is abuzz with speculation that this is a revamp of the OnePlus Watch 3, possibly dubbed OnePlus Watch 3R. Given that the Watch 3 was launched in February 2025, it seems unlikely that the company would opt for an entire generational update and therefore this might be a region-specific or feature-optimized version.
